My daughter rides horses at a local barn. I knew 1 hand equals 4 inches but I never realized that .1 hand meant 1 inch. I assumed .1 meant .1 x 4 inches, .2 meant .2 x 4 inches, etc. I never realized that you never hear of a horse that is X.4, X.5, X.6, etc. hands tall! I liked your presentation because most people probably don’t associate horses with math, and you found a way to incorporate math into something you enjoy. It sounds like horses are important to you, and it is great that you found a way to bring math into that! Great job!

I love how you choose a project that had real meaning to you.  It was interesting how you convert hands to inches.  At first I didn't understand what 3.2 hand meant!  It is weird that they don't use decimals the way our system works.  Nice job on your graphs and charts.  They are clear and well labeled.  Kudos!
