2026 Fall Conference - Request for Proposals

We at the Vermont Council of Teachers of Mathematics (VCTM) believe in building an inclusive math community of students and educators through conversation, shared resources around evidence-based practices, and connections throughout Vermont and beyond.

VCTM will be hosting its annual fall conference on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Vermont State University Campus, Randolph, VT. This year's conference theme is Find your Math Path: To Proficiency & Beyond!

In order for students to be mathematically proficient they need opportunities to build conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, strategic competence, adaptive reasoning and productive disposition. Presentations should align with at least one of the proficiency strands.

Proposals are due on May 15, 2026 and final decisions will be made before June 15, 2026. You may submit more than one proposal.
