Who We Are:

The Board of VCTM is a passionate group of K-12 & university mathematics educators as well as industry leaders that wish to honor the mission of VCTM while also playing a central role in providing a wealth of opportunity for both teachers and students of mathematics to learn and grow outside of the classroom.

We are a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit with affiliations to NCTM, NCSM and ATMNE as well as close collaboration with the Vermont Agency of Education.

2025 Annual Fall Conference

Vermont Council of Teachers of Mathematics (VCTM) will be hosting its annual conference for math teachers and leaders, Counted In, on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Vermont State University, Randolph Campus

This year's conference will include break out sessions in the morning and a screening and discussion of Counted Out: Math is Power, a film by Vicki Abeles, in the afternoon.

2025 Statewide Math Fair! 


The Vermont Council of Teachers of Mathematics will once again host a statewide math fair! 

Participation is FREE thanks to a generous sponsorship from Ben & Jerry's & Costco.
